WELCOME TO KPT

Getting you back to work, sports, life…..at any age!

KPT is the longest-standing PT/OT private practice in Washington state, serving the Kitsap County community for over 45 years. Located in the Pacific Northwest, the region is bound by its beautiful coastal waters and is the backdoor to the Olympic Mountains offering the best camping, hiking, backpacking, skiing, fishing and is just a quick beautiful ferry ride into Seattle.

KPT has 8 clinics throughout the County and offers a large range of specialty services for students to choose experience from.  Additional exciting opportunities include a partnership with our community’s state of the art YMCA which we have a satellite clinic in and one of the first onsite PT Tribal clinics (on the reservation) in the nation, offering therapy and wellness services. We are in the works with two other local Tribes allowing students to learn how they can help underserved communities and expereince unique cultural traditions.

Additionally, KPT offers one of the most advanced, well developed mentorship programs;

offered to all of our staff in addition to a impressive continuing education package.

We also have some staff who are willing to host students as we know housing often is the largest need.
Please note these spots are limited and based on first come first serve basis.

The Mike Danford Student to Work Scholarship

Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinics (KPT) has developed a plan to assist students pursuing a career as a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Individuals must demonstrate outstanding personal integrity, have lived locally, and possess a sincere intention to return to KPT. An interview with our Board of Directors is required as part of the application process. We seek applicants who align with our business model. As a group practice, we are particularly interested in PTs and OTs who are eager to become partners, committed to skill development, program development, actively representing KPT within our local community, and willing to make the extra efforts necessary to keep KPT successful.
